About the Author
Tony and Nicole Hinton are the loving parents of five children. Aniyah, Kamrin, Kadin, Alaunia and Konnor. In December 2007, Tony Hinton obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Services Administration in Family Counseling from the University of Baltimore. In May 2013, he graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in Theological Studies and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. In November 2013, through the God given vision and desire to serve those in need, Divine Human Services Incorporated (DHS) was birthed. A faith based organization that is geared toward (but not limited too) assisting the ex-offender population to get on the road to recovery and success. Tony and Nicole both served as youth leaders at their home church. Tony officially accepted his call as a minister and was licensed in December 2010. Currently, he serves in the capacity of a discipleship teacher and preacher. His wife stands beside him in ministry and together they are youth role models, advocators and servants of God. Nicole has produced hundreds of You Tube videos; going by the (name of her channel) name Iambcuzofu. Some of which are geared to ministering and encouraging those who are broken. As a result of these videos and God's grace Tony and Nicole have had the opportunity to speak to, encourage and witness to those who are hurting across the world. Tony and Nicole Hinton continue to stand on the sanctity of Christian marriage and strives to set the example God has made so that He will receive the glory.

Didn't Think I Would Relate...

I started to give this 4 stars instead of 5 (ONLY because of some of the typos), but I just couldn't do it. This book is REAL, raw, and full of God's messages. The authors are transparent and I can't even express how much I appreciate that fact. I'm married already, not a Christian (or so I think) BUT I was drawn to buy this book because I follow Nicole on YT and wanted to support. I didn't think that I would be able to relate but I was SO wrong. Ironically Nicole is the name of one of my best friends who is very strong in Christ, my only friend that prays with me, etc. and the authors are both from Maryland (so am I), and they're both 33 like me (saw this on Nicole's YT channel). These things may seem small, but I smiled as I noticed so many similarities between my journey and there's. While I'm not a Christian I was saved (I guess once saved always) but I've been leaning more towards metaphysics, etc...dealt with a lot of what Nicole would call "church hurt" and things that pulled me from my foundation. I still believe in God, pray, meditate, etc. but I can't say that I have some close relationship with Jesus at the moment. I don't know exactly what's going to happen in my life, but I'm SO very grateful that they both shared their testimonies in this book. I know this is for people in Christ who are waiting on their mates, but I know firsthand that this book will touch many more.
Oh and the book is a page-turner...like many other reviewers I finished in one day. I didn't think I could relate, but as a person who has read MANY books this is probably the book that I have most related to in YEARS. So nothing other than 5 stars is deserved. In fact, I'm glad they didn't wait to get the book "perfect" before publishing. The message was perfect, and in this case, that's all that matters.

Waiting on God? Here are the tools!!

This review is a copy and paste of my moment by moment notes as I read this book in hours (I could not put it down)...
This book is hitting all my heart strings
God is speaking to me very directly and clearly
I literally feel like I am reading my own struggle and journey - sentence by sentence *shivers*
I am grateful for the vulnerability of their ministry
The experience of God thru their struggles
I am captivated by the similarities in the spiritual struggle and then left encourage by their intimate experience w God
When I found them on YouTube years ago I knew God was speaking to me and now again thru this book - God is so real and so personal
Thru each page I keep saying this is me this is me
In a daze
Finished in a matter of hours
Now need to spend time in prayer and prepare to read again to really process and apply the tools to my life
SO many good nuggets, prayer points and simple tools to move forward
So many similarities to my journey ... I am encouraged to hold on and most importantly to continue to pursue God passionately
I don't know what's to come but my faith is strengthened and I'm encouraged to seek God passionately while I wait
This is just for me this book is just for me

This book is amazing!! A powerful message for singles to wait on God, study His word, obey His commandments, and have faith in His plans for our lives so that we will not fall for counterfeits. Once I started reading this book, it was so hard to put down. It made me smile, laugh and cry because I can relate to some of the stories. My heart leaped with joy when God begin to confirm their prayers. I committed to God's way almost two years ago and this book has definitely renewed my strength to stay on the right path and not grow weary. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Hinton for sharing God's amazing work and your testimonies with the world!!
